Who We Are
We are providers of adventure stories that develop children’s thinking.
Virginia is the mother of two very curious children who were the reason she started writing children’s philosophy books. She has a degree in History from Cambridge and a Masters in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies. Her first career was in Public Relations and she was on the Board of Hill & Knowlton UK and ran her own PR business. She has also been an Adjunct Professor for the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and is P4C trained.
Rhian Sellier is mother of two curious explorers and holds a Ba(Hons) in French and Spanish from Bristol University, as well as an MA in French translation. She worked for many years in the fashion industry, where she learned how to tell stories through shape, colour and narrative – and launched the Guess? brand in the UK. P4C trained and a talented artist, she’s studied Philosophy and sees the idea of creative, independent and compassionate thinking for children as an elegant way of giving young people an empathetic view of the world, as well as the tools to approach life successfully.
An entrepreneur with two sold businesses under her belt, Felicia holds a Ba(Hons) in Philosophy and Theology and an MA (Comm) in Theology from Bristol University, as well as an MSc (Dist.) in Global Energy and Climate Policy from the School for Oriental and African Studies. She has over twenty years experience in publishing and communications and, focused on issues around sustainability, climate change and social justice, believes that the education of children is the best long term solution to global challenges. She is also P4C trained.
